Halesowen and Rowley Regis MP James Morris has presented the Ameena Indian Restaurant with a certificate from the Tiffin Cup signed by Ainsley Harriott.
The Tiffin Cup is an annual British competition run by the Tiffin Club to find the best South Asian restaurant in the United Kingdom.
The Ameena, which is based on Hagley Road, has been a favourite for local residents since 1974 and is family business.
MP James Morris presented the Ameena with a certificate for 'Highly Commended' in the West Midlands category.
James said, "For many years the Ameena has provided local people with a high quality restaurant and takeaway offer. I am glad that I was able to present this certificate to the staff who work so hard - especially as I've had my fair share of tandoori mixed grills there!"
