James paid a visit to Halesowen-based business Jigsaw Infrared on Friday 22nd April, as he learned about the Infrared heating systems the company supplies to domestic and commercial properties. Jigsaw is based on the Coombswood Estate and also has a manufacturing facility in Oldbury, whilst their workforce has doubled over the last six months.
During his visit, James spoke with Managing Director Matthew Billington about Jigsaw’s progress as well as the challenges the company is facing. James also had the opportunity to see some of Jigsaw’s products and learn about how they work.
“Transitioning to greener technologies is important if we are to reach our target of net zero by 2050" said James, "and it is great to have businesses like Jigsaw in Halesowen that are leading the way in innovative solutions.
“I was really pleased to catch up with Matthew and hear about the progress they are making, as they continue to deliver innovative heating solutions.”
Matthew Billington added, “Thanks to James for visiting our offices to discuss our green infrared heating and hot water systems.
“There has been a huge shift to green technologies which has been backed by Government investments, which has supported Jigsaw’s development to manufacturing and the growth of our team.”
